Sutures Truglyde Violet Healthium
Description:
Braided & coated absorbing synthetic suture for soft tissue approximation
Features of Truglyde:
- Good tensile strength
- Excellent handling properties
- Good knot security and easy knot placement
- Lubricated coating decreases the coefficient of friction, allowing easy tissue passage
- Elicits less inflammatory response as synthetic materials are degraded in vivo via hydrolysis, and thus involve less of an inflammatory reaction than their natural protein analogs.
Truglyde provides wound support of 28-30 days and is ideal for all soft tissue approximation. It provides better predictability in terms of support and absorption.
Applications:
- For soft tissue approximation during general, gynecological and orthopedic surgeries

- Braided and coated polyglycolic acid
- Coating of calcium stearate and polyglactin 910
- Available in undyed and violet color
- Sterilized by ethylene oxide
- Shelf life of 5 years
