Truglyde Fast provides faster absorption period (essentially absorbs within 40-42 days), which is convenient during surgeries likes episiotomy and circumcision. The suture retains approximately 15% of the initial tensile strength at 2 weeks of implantation. The material used in this suture is softer compared to conventional suture materials like catgut.
